Mount Vernon's strange lights on the mountains.It was early in the morning around 5:30 am, waking up thinking it's going to be a sunny day. I looked out the window thinking I would see the sun rising. Instead, it was more than 20 lights on the mountain side flashing in a pattern very brightly. They were from one end of the mountain to the other. Right in the middle of all the lights there was the brightest of them all flashing its own pattern of lights. This would go on for another two hours. They would also move around the mountain in a triangular shape then turn all one color. Orange and red and white where what they would use. Once the little ones would turn red the others on top would send a white signal to the others and they would turn red. There was the brightest light on the very tip, it would flash the brightest white light to all! Then they would form patterns altogether and flash differently! I wish I could provide pictures. It was something we have never seen before. When the sun started to c! ome up around 7:20 am, they weren't really flashing anymore. They looked as if they would try to get into the trees on the mountain to hide a little! At the end there were lights coming from above our house that were heading towards the mountain then would disappear in a fast movement. We didn't see them again!
