Went out for a few minutes in the front of my house. and as usual in the evening. As I looked up in the sky I saw this huge glowing red globe in the east hanging over the shore line of the Gorge. Thought it was firecrackers or some kind of show for New Years Eve, but it was not moving. I was in awe and could not make sense of it. The globe descended after a few minutes later I noticed that the surrounding area where it may have landed glowed white/gold light. My feelings were more of curiosity as trying to logically place this in my mind. I lost sight of it when it went down slowly, and did observe white light where it may have landed or fallen. Do not believe it fell as it appeared to be in control.
