This is for a friend who works for the Quebec SQ. Twice while on evening patrol between Montabello and Sturgeon Lake he has caught glimpses of a light (yellowish/green/white) soar over the countryside. The first event happened in 2010 and the second just a few weeks ago (May 13 2011). The sightings are of a quick, jerky light that changes colour and direction. IT follows the terrain and lights up the ground beneith it. My friend knows aircraft and it is not that. It changes shape depending on how you look at it. The first sighting last year was directly over the cruiser going from left to right but the second was out in the distance. Appearantly there was something caught in the car's forward camera but it just shows as a bright light.As an addendum, My friend does NOT want to be contacted directly as this will cause hardship at his work. He is looking to see if anything else was reported with the same description.
