1. I was about 12 years old at that time. I was on the shore on Penobscot Bay near Camden, ME, having a picnic lunch with my mother.2. It was so big it was impossible not to see it. We were sitting, looking at the sky and ocean and in it came.3. At first, thought it was a plane coming down, but then realized it was round, disc shaped.4. It was disc or round shaped, grayish, coming in extremely fast and at an extremely sharp angle and quite close to us.5. Surprised, curious, not really scared but bewildered. Was excited bit mother was scared and grabbed me by the hand and hustled us to the cottage. She seemed pretty shook up.6. It disappeared into the water.
