Was a very clear night and i was having a cigarette in the back garden before heading to bed..was 12:34am..i always look up at the sky to admire the stars..i looked towards polaris in the north of the area and out of nowhere, a ball of light appeared just below the northstar and was pulsating like a christmas tree bulb(light not fully going out)...it headed east pulsating about 6 times at a slowish pace and then flashing stopped..i continued to watch and after ten seconds three flashes appeared in quick consession higher in the sky above the north star and the object vanished. I must have stayed out waiting for it to reappearfor a good 15 minutes but nothing materialised...please feel free if anymore info is required..regards AE
