Had just gotten out of my car at work and heard some geese flying over. Looked up to find the geese and spotted two blob-like objects moving in a low, straight-line path over the tree line up the hill (though they were probably farther distant than the tree line). Blobs looked red at first, then I thought they were black as they got farther away. That tree line itself is probably half a football field from where I parked, and the objects could have been much farther away and just visible over the treeline to me on an angle, if you know what I mean.At first, I thought they were balloons that got loose, as this is a highly populated urban area. They're definitely not planes (I'm an aerospace engineer, I know what planes look like even from a distance) or birds. The first object appeared to yaw back and forth on a plane. The spacing between the two objects did not seem to vary, and they stayed on an even plane the whole time.I still think they were probably groups of helium balloons that got loose, but they were too far away to see strings, and they didn't rise or fall at all. It was cloudy on Wednesday morning but not all that windy on the ground (not sure what the wind conditions were like up there).I lost sight of the objects when they disappeared over the tree line. The whole thing took about a minute, maybe less. I didn't feel anything but curiosity. Never seen anything I couldn't explain before.
