Went to bed following viewing of HBO series which ended at 10:00 pm. We have a full wall of windows beside our bed which does not contain blinds or curtains. We have a private property which contains 2 acres of trees and a small area where we have a fenced in back-yard with a small patch of sod/grass and landscaping. While facing the window from bed, my husband asked me, "did you see the lights in the trees?". At that time, I opened my eyes to look. This was at 10:10 pm. I noticed a ball of light (approximately softball to basketball in size) which lit up from out of no where then traveled about 5 feet in a straight line then the light went out as quickly as it appeared. At that time, I asked my husband if what I witnessed was the same encounter he had, and it was. The one he witnessed traveled in the opposite direction from the first one I witnessed. We continued to watch out the window where I could see another one travel from the back of my neighbors property. At that time, I was too afraid to open my eyes and continue to look. I was in complete disbelief as to what I saw. My husband and I had a brief conversation about what rationally could have just happened. I know what I saw, but I don't know what I saw. There is no rational explanation or any thing I have ever seen that could even be compared to the event we witnessed. I do not know if it was a series of three different lighted orbs or if it was one orb making zig zag pattern from my property to the neighbors property.
