Husband & 20 year old son were sitting out on our balcony when they saw strange lights above our Piketon, OH home (roughly 10 minutes from Waverly, OH). Husband says it started out as 3 lights that expanded with a single radiant light. They also saw a single light that suddenly burst into 3 lights, then within seconds vanished. They signaled for me to come out & that is when I saw a single moving light as well. Just as I was wondering & trying to decide if it had any tell-tale signs of being a plane, it to burst into 3 lights which made a horizontal line up, one above the other. With in seconds, it just vanished. We then noticed another light that zig zagged before disappearing. Planes could be heard & seen during during this time as well, but the strange lights & the motion of them did not match to anything that a normal plane or chopper can do. Time was 10-10:30pm with them being on & off during this time. Sky was clear.
