I was outside sitting on my porch smoking. I was looking at the stars. I had the door closed and the light off. I noticed what I thought was a very high altitude airplane to the west. It was emitting a bright white light. It was heading in my direction which is east of where it was located. It abruptly made a 90 degree turn to the north. And then blinked and shot up and was gone. It didn't last very long as it was moving very fast. Directly under where it started there was an actual plane heading southwest toward the dfw area. I noticed this due to it not having the normal green and red lights and because it was moving extremely fast, faster than the plane was going. It emitted a steady white light. This isn't the first time I have seen something strange out here. Since the weekend of the 4th I have observed a few objects showing the same behavior. Has anyone else seen anything like this in the same area? I'm not sure what it was but, it moved too fast.
