My brother and I were standing on the balcony of the Wavecrest Resort on the Ocean overlooking the Montauk beach between 9 and 10 PM on 7/28/14. Similar to the 2009 sighting, we both witnessed a white luminous rounded object with many white lights shining like tiny stars within the orb. The UFO appeared to have depth but it was hard to determine whether it was 3D. The object seemed to float on the ocean breeze like a piece of paper caught in a wind current. It glided across the shoreline fairly quickly (within 8-10 seconds) from west to east and suddenly disappeared. My sister-in-law saw the same orb two nights later (7/30/14) at around the same time from our hotel balcony. My brother and I noticed have since read about a sighting (much different than what the three of us witnessed) on 7/29/14.

The shape of the object was a cross between a (cloud-like colored white) circle and a rectangle - somewhat elongated and luminous. Inside were between 6 (my brother's recollection) and 12 + (what I recall) small bright lights. The object not only floated across the shoreline, but as my brother reminded me, it also dipped and rose as it glided from west to east. The next day, my brother reminded me that a helicopter flew over head while we are on the beach the next morning traveling in the same direction as the object....perhaps a coincidence, who knows?
