Around 12:30 am Aug 19 2014. Was on my front porch talking with a friend when something behind him in the sky caught my attention. Very hard to explain what i saw so forgive my description. I saw a blueish white glow that seemed like moonlight reflecting of an invisible but shiny spherical surface. mostly cloud cover at that time with no moon in sight. the glow seemed to travel from front to back and when no more light was visible neither was the object and i looked good and hard for hours but nothing. was sudden like a quick glare out the corner of my eye and was still there as i looked directly at it. the object was traveling slowly and steadily south and was above cloud height. even though the clouds were fairly low, at that height, object mustve been huge for me to have seem it that time of night at that elevation in such conditions. If i held a quarter in my outstretched hand and held it up to the sky it would be about that size. also as i looked at it for that quick second it looked blurry which for any normal object that distance i would have no problem seeing. Ive seen alot and traveled alot in my life. i am very skeptical and like to get proper explanations of things but this was by far the strangest thing ive ever seen. ive thought of all possible causes and all are actually more far fetched than a classic ufo sighting such as plasma emminating from electrical lines and so on.

I searched the web to find an image that would best help describe what I saw. I found the attached picture on google images. I looked at hundreds of photos before this one came up and I knew I wouldnt find another that would better describe what i saw. Its hard to explain this without making it sound crazy so Ill just be as forward as possible. The attached photo looks more bubble like and what i saw looked to be the bottom of the object and it wasnt a constant glow but as if an invisible rounded object had activiated what i could only describe as a cloaking system that caused a dim blue/white illumination to circulate around the exterior like a wave or pulse because where there was no light glowing/reflecting there was only dark midnight blue sky. by the time the illumination traveled from one side to the other i was only looking at empty sky. litteraly only about 1.5 seconds of illumination.
