At approximately 9:30pm, my sister and I noticed a series of white, sequential lights orbiting in a circle outside of my skylight in my bedroom. The lights from my skylight varied from 2-3 different circles. Watched the lights moving for about ten minutes, occasionally brightening and dimming, and moving towards my left. Got in my car with my sister to check it out, and noticed that it wasn't visible over the tree line, but as we drove further (approximately under one mile) the beams of lights became more visible. At this point, we could see the full circle that the lights were moving in and there were about 6-10 of them. The best look at the series of lights that we got were above a multiple cornfields down the street from our house. Didn't go any further past the cornfields because it was private property, but we ended up watching the lights for approximately one hour. We live by a local skydiving place but have never seen anything like this, especially at night when the facility isn't in operation. I look out through my skylight every night and have never seen these lights before. We both feel as though we saw something very strange that overwhelmed us with question about what we were actually seeing.
