7 airmen, ranking from SMSGT to Sgt (I was a SSgt) were at horseshoe lake on base; the midnight sun was crawling along the eastern horizon (behind us - I was at the top of the earth, lol) I looked up and said "look at the falling star" - all seven of us watched it's very slow lazy descent and within 3-4 seconds it stopped way over head and shot off into oblivion. There was at that time a missile/rocket test sight called Poker Flats (I have been there once to watch a launch of a rocket). None of us ever spoke of it that I know of and this is my first report of a second encounter (REF MUFON #59326) It was at no time larger than the head of a pin and vanished past the size of a "." period. We were astounded, speechless and other events also took place that night that are too personal to describe here. I am now a 110% disabled USAF Veteran and am fighting cancer with success.
