I was travelling back home to codicote from Norfolk on the A505 to Baldock 8.00pm on the Sat. 23rd August Bank Holiday weekend I was approaching the brow of the steep hill level with a dog kennells on my left, there was a clear blue sky in front of me and dark clouds either side of the blue sky it was getting dark. I saw in front of me a beautiful bright star and said out loud to myself oh! what a beautiful bright shiny star, when it suddenly moved on a straight line to the left then on the same line to the right.I thought this is odd then as fast it moved to the right on the same line then it came closer forward and did the same again travelled to the left and right on the same line so fast nothing like an air plane or helicopter could do what this did so quick. There was no sound just this very bright star like object. It then came straight towards me and up over the car as i have a glass roof i could see as it passed over me there were orangy/red lights in a vertical line in the middle of this silver orb. I was completely gob smacked. At first i thought is this some new police speed camara remote controlled? But my instinct tells me this is a UFO from outer space observing us. did not fear it i just wish i could have seen more. There must have been others on the road behind me that witnessed the same phenomena. It was fantastic and i am glad i saw it.
