I am on the north end in Tacoma, so I am very used to commercial and military aircraft in our skies. We are right under the approach for McChord and can hear & see SEATAC traffic all the time.I also know a satellite's appearence when they reflect sunlight at very high altitudes.At apprx 20.40 on 27SE14 I noticed a light much brighter than normal aircraft and it was going much faster than anything we normally see. Very bright red/orange glow with a bit of pulsating. it was traveling roughly NE to SW, and it was NOT in the normal commercial or military corridors.This one light which caught our attention was followed by two in tandem.I hoped on our roof, from where I have a very good view of Tacoma, the port, Brown's Point and SEATAC, and the glow of Seattle farther north. I could see commercial craft on approach like normal. A fourth light appeared and followed the same flight path at the same speed. Now on the roof I had a better view of where these were coming from and it is possible to have taken off from Boeing Field gievn that direction and their climb in altitude. This was followed by a fifth, then a sixth.All six lights were the same magnitude, brightness, color, speed, altitude, flight path etc. and they all went out at the same place in flight as it passed Tacoma.I am familiar with fast movers (fighter jets) The high speed, the bright glow and the fading out after it passed.HOWEVER, after burn comes with the very very loud jet engine sound; we heard nothing from these lights during the entire incident.These lights seemed to travel directly over Tacoma (SE from where I observed) this is much closer than normal SEATAC traffic. We hear all SEATAC traffic, even the smaller Horizon flights, however we heard nothing from these lights/craft.ICBM?
