My sister first noticed the light while sitting out on our back deck as it was getting dark and the stars were becoming noticeable. She said that's too bright to be a star. It was first noticed in the east, over Lake Winnipesaukee, at quite a distance. I thought at first it was a star but it really was too bright to be a star and we could just barely notice colors flashing, white, red and green. We also thought it might be a plane, but it did not move like a plane. Went back out on deck about an hour later, around 9:00 pm, it had moved to a NE position over Lake Winnipesaukee. Watched the 'light' flashing colors, moving very erratically, side to side, up and down, diagonally, in circles. Checked back a few more times, still was there. When I went out to check at 11:00 pm it had disappeared. This happened for 2 consecutive nights, beginning Sept. 27, 2014 and also Sept. 28, 2014. I will check again tonight and report if it is still showing up. We both believe it was a UFO.
