I first saw this one evening, around 11:30 PM, about a month ago, a "star" that was blinking and pulsating, rather than twinkling. Totally stationary. I live near Highland Park, and have seen this object as I was looking NE, which puts it somewhere in the Mt. Wilson/ Big Bear area. I went home and got binoculars, which gave me a better view. Again, blinking and pulsating, not star twinkles, and a fairly wide spectrum of colors. I went to bed thinking that it was very most likely not a star, and beyond that, who knows. Two nights ago, Monday the 29th, again around 11:30 PM, I saw it again, in almost the exact same spot in the sky, but a little closer this time, as the blinking and pulsating were more pronounced, and this time I could see some of the colors without binoculars. I went to bed that night thinking 95% that this object is not a star. Last night, again around 11:30 PM ,I went to the exact same vantage point as the other two times and it was not there; a big blank dark patch of sky with no object. The other two times I had seen it there was nothing else in the sky near it (stars etc..), from this particular vantage point. More than anything, I would love to know if anyone else has noticed this. At a glance it would look like a star. After last night, and it NOT being there, I feel fairly certain it was a UFO, as it would have been too high in the sky I think for a helicopter, and sort of "parked" over something in the mountains or desert NE of LA. I will keep looking, same time and place. And again, would really love to know if others have seen this.
