o October 2, 2014 I had woken up at about 4:10 am. I went to the bathroom to clean up and get ready for the day. I did my business, and as I was wiping my face, I turned towards the east facing wall with a glass block window. I observed an extremely bright reddish orange 'ball', that would have been positioned above my neighbors trees in his back yard. It was distorted as I was looking thru glass block, but I was trying to reconcile the size and placement of the sphere, with it possibly being the moon? but I knew it was not the proper time or place to be seeing the moon. I stood and looked at it for a couple of seconds, it hovered up and down slightly. At that point I decided to go to my kitchen, which is adjacent to the bathroom, and go to look out the window to see better what was going on. It was 4:17 am. I started to open the blinds, and as I got them opened, you could see the sphere that was above the tree tops, shoot straight up and disappear. It made no sound or leave any sign it was there. I went outside to my front porch to see if I could see anything further up in the sky, but didn't see anything at all. It really startled me!I thought about calling the sheriff's department, but thought they would think I was crazy. I waited around to see if anyone came outside after I saw this, maybe they too saw this object. No one came out, no police came by nothing.
