Tuesday night I saw something in the sky.. Middleton MA at about 7:45 PM Looking West... I saw what looked like a bright meteor streak straight down from about 80 degrees, then split into two and disappear. It was odd enough, but what really intrigued me was the blinking red lights that were extremely visible just after... one just above its origination point, and one along the horizon to the left and under.. Neither of these moved and stayed lit for only about 10 seconds. The meteor did not have a tail. I have seen many shooting stars and this was not one. I certainly got the feeling that these two blinking objects were definitely associated with the other orb. This was witnessed by a friend. There were many other people with us. I did not say anything to my friend other than the, "holy @#$%, did you see that?" He said 'Yes!!' I kept my mouth shut and asked him to describe it to others... He described the exact same thing.
