Saw 5 orange lights flying in formation over Mentor, Ohio December 27, 2014 8:30PM. Reported to Mentor Police.

A couple of the girls that work with Jen said they have seen similar lights before, one has a boat and saw them on Lake Erie, another said they had seen them out in the country. They said that they had heard it was something from Homeland security I did some research and homeland does use Predator drones but I really don't think that's what I saw.

These drones are big and also have A large engine that would definitely be able to be heard and also probably seen at night, The five I saw were just a big round red light that was perfectly silent and actually passed almost right overhead. It is possible that our or someone's government and military have something up there that we don't know anything about.

Our family room and couch faces South, tonight at 8:30 (Saturday)while sitting on our couch watching TV I see a big solid round red light over the house behind us. I often see planes on approach to Cuyahoga Country Airport but those are heading East to West and the red aircraft lights are flashing red and MUCH smaller than what I was seeing. I got up and walked to our sliding patio door for closer look, I then see another one coming approximately 200 yards following the exact same S to N route, I immediately go outside to watch them, as they're almost overhead I look to the South and see THREE MORE following the exact same route and spacing, I yell for Jen to come out and she see's the last 3 as they silently went overhead and to the N following the exact same route. I run back inside, grab the phone then go back out and call 911, I explain what I saw and they said they had no reports or explanation so I guess I'll be listed as a "nut case". They were always in level flight and I'd guess between 1-2,000 feet. To approximate the size I'd say if an aircraft flashing marker light looks the size of a BB these would be the size of a quarter. I'm not saying these were aliens but would love to know what they were, definitely NOT a plane or helicopter!.

I came across this vid from mentor and it's very close to what we saw! The speed and elevation looks very close and the only difference was the five we saw were following the exact straight path across the sky from south to north. (VIDEO RELATED)
