I was grilling dinner in my backyard around 6:45 p.m. when i noticed in the sky two separate spherical light formations connected by a smaller set of lights in the center. It was dark so i could not see the actual object, just these red lights at the bottom of it. They wrapped around i could make out half a sphere so i assume it wrapped completly around it. This was the same for the other object. They both were spaced out quite a ways apart so at first i thought they were moving freely of one another. But as i watched more, i could see them moving in the same direction at the same time/speed and then i made out the smaller red lights that was just a single line that connected the two in the center. This was happening very far from my house but the distance between the two spheres was very spread out, so that tells me this object overall was enormous, at least over a mile long. I took a minute long video but my phone was only able to capture a few glimmers of the lights. I watched this with my son as it moved SE and eventually i couldnt make the lights out anymore. I have seen sky lanterns people sometimes release around the holidays those appear red/orange in light and flicker like a candle. THIS was NO sky lantern, i was speechless.
