I was on my front porch smoking and looking at the stars. I noticed an unusually large low bright object and began focusing on it. When I looked away, my vision was a bit blurred because it was so bright. At first I thought it was a chopper, then saw no red lights flashing and it wasn't moving or making any noise for how close it was. As I watched it hover over some trees about 1/2 mile away, it started to descend into the tree line. At this point I had been watching it for about 12-14 minutes. When I lost site I went further out into the street to see if it was visible and I could not see the object. At first I was curious, then I got a bit scared because I realized this is abnormal and not a helicopter. I lost site of it when my neighbor pulled up and said hi. I'm assuming it fell below the tree line because after our 20 second conversation the object was out of site. It's not possible if it gained altitude and wouldn't be visible, seeing as it's a perfectly clear night. I'm confused. I've provided a video. In the beginning I'm trying to focus and adjust. Towards the end you can see the light twinkling.
