On 3/24/15 at about 11:30pm, I was laying with my son trying to get him to sleep looking out of the window as usual. We live near an airport so seeing things in the sky is not uncommon.This night I observed a helicopter I'd say 5 or 6 miles away headed away from the airport with an orb type object in front of it keeping pace. I thought it might be a reflection in the window or maybe a spot light on the chopper itself, but then said object went straight up into the sky.
