Approximately 2230 on 6/22/15 or 6/23/15 I noticed a small cloud moving from South to North-or slightly Northwest. It was unusual because all the clouds that night had been moving from West to East. This particular cloud was the only one in the sky I could see at the time. Since the direction of travel was odd, I took out my phone to record the event, but it was too dark for it to record anything. After I put my phone away and looked back up at the object, it had changed. Now it appeared, not as a cloud, but as a white light the magnitude of a relatively bright star surrounded by a whitish mist or aura. I went inside to retrieve a pair of bionaculars. When I stepped back outside, the object had changed once again. Now it appeared as a cloud. Through bionoculars, it appeared as a bright smug on the sky. The closest analog to its appearance would be a search light reflected off a cloud. The elapsed time from initially spotting the cloud until it disappeared over the horizon was approximately five minutes. The cloud-object was traveling in a straight line at what seemed to be the speed of a jetliner at cruising altitude; although, I don't know the height or distance away of the object so this assumption is relative.
