We were sitting on the deck looking for early shooting stars. Saw 5 of those but lost interest when we started seeing these moving lights. Saw and heard planes blinking, though these lights did not move when the planes were nearby. They did not track any plane. Thought the first one was a satellite. Then within the next hour and 10 minutes we saw a total of 13. Most moving from south to north, a few moving from west to east. Dim white star appearance. Most looked like they had smooth motion. Some looked like they wobbled and not in a smooth straight line. No sound. Couldn't tell size, shape or distance. Clear night. No way to confuse them with shooting stars or planes. We did not see them from horizon to horizon. Movement would just catch your eye. We couldn't tell if they stopped and hovered, as we would lose sight of some in the milky way. I've never put in a report before. It was a pretty weird and awesome experience I'll never forget. We lost sight of most of these in the overhead roofline and didn't have to wait very long to see another.
