A friend and I were in the yard observing the night sky, due west an object appeared with red orange light almost white in the center, it could of had three lights hard to tell. it moved slowly northeast. we could not ascertain if it was a plane for the lights were not spread out. then a white solid object fell from the ufo and went straight down fading into oblivion the glow from the ufo made this easy to see it was not apparent if there was a trail but a very subtle almost indistinguishable glow behind the falling object which appeared oval, the ufo moved NE and further away another object fell and went straight down again disappearing from sight fast with again a slight trail. The ufo then suddenly vanished whilst moving. the night sky was foggy, the air thick. I would estimate the ufo to be moving over the area of the west side of buffalo close to or above the niagara river. I am on Linwood avenue looking due west the object was in sight line with Lexington avenue which runs west and then vanishing to the north east. speed was constant, it was the falling orbs that were most disturbing. time 9:20 pm, duration 3 minutes. Object was below cloud cover at 5000 feet or more at 50 degrees.
