I have a celestial telescope which I brought to my friend's house and I was setting it up for later evening viewing. We gad not been drinking. We were just getting the telescope setup and oriented for optimal viewing when we saw a USAF aircraft and its contrail. As we were taking our eyes off of the USAF aircraft a strange multicolored craft appeared in an instant as though it had uncloaked. It assumed the same flight path of the USAF aircraft (west to east) although it was much closer to ground level (approximately one mile or less). I grabbed my mobile phone to take some pictures and I was able to take three photographs. The third was taken at the moment that the craft vanished or cloaked. At that instant a white mist appeared for just a second and that mist can be seen in the third photograph. The craft made no noise whatsoever while the USAF aircraft made its usual distant engine noises. It was an exciting moment. The craft had a strange shape with no distinguishable wings. It had short extensions that were part of the craft. It did not have flight-supporting wings. It was quite real yet simultaneously surreal. It clearly appeared from nowhere. It did not gradually appear. It appeared as though it uncloaked and vanished as though returning to a cloaked state.
