I was outside of work and looked over to the horizon. Saw the first red light come up from behind the city skyline, ascending and moving left to right. Soon after another one of the same size and same light followed behind it. They were travelling in groups of 3, forming what looked like a triangle between them. There were 5 groups altogether. About 15 minutes after they went overhead, (no noise whatsoever) there was a black helicopter flying from SW to NE, the lights were traveling NE to SW. My cell phone lost signal for the duration of the event. Tried to snap some pictures but every time I clicked the on screen shutter on my phone the screen would just turn off.
