We were watching the fireworks at the fair at the Memorial Park. While we were watching I noticed what looked like a big bright star to the right of the fireworks. Then I noticed it was red and bigger than a star. It was not part of the fireworks because it didn't move for a long time. Then it slowly descended down behind a group of large oak trees. We were not in the park we were at home watching from our front porch. I thought it was gone but I kept watching and it came back up bigger and brighter than before. It was moving faster than a helicopter and sometimes faster than a plane. It moved up then made a sharp turn to the right and moved down and to the right in a sort of zig zag pattern. Sometimes it would go back up and made sharp turns and even a loop. It moved like nothing I have ever seen before. After watching it do the crazy maneuvers it finally made a stair step type move down and to the right and disappeared behind some more trees. I didn't see it any more. It was visible a pretty long time while the fireworks were going on but it was not where the fireworks were. It was further to the right than the fireworks. It was like it was watching them. As the fireworks ended the red ball started on it's descent behind the trees and was gone. The fireworks ended before the red light left though so there is no way it could have been part of the fireworks. Haven't heard anything from anyone else who may have seen it besides me and my wife.
