I had just dropped my son off at boyscouts and on the way home I marveled at the beautiful sky. I decided to stop in the parking lot of a restaurant(at the intersection of IN 9 & IN 14)so I could photograph the sky. My youngest son was with me. I actually didn't notice the orb until I zoomed in on the photographs to see what the lights were. There is definitely an orb with lights around the center of the object. I took 2 photographs moments apart and it is in both, in different areas. As I didn't see it until I got home, I didn't have an immediate reaction. My curiosity is...what is this? I've never seen anything like this. I don't know if it's explainable or not. No edits just my Samsung Galaxy S5 cellphone camera to take the picture. These photos taken in Columbia City, Indiana on Oct 1, 2015 at approximately 6:45 pm.
