My husband and I were coming home from the grocery store in Clackamas, and the sky was dark. It was 6:50 p.m. I looked to the left and saw 3 big white lights, and just assumed that they were house lights way up on a hill, because we are surrounded by ridges and houses on those ridges. But then they started moving a little, and we noticed that they had tails behind them...white tails. One of them dipped a bit and changed direction, with a sparkly tail behind it. We can't figure out what they could be. Definitely not planes, fireworks, meteors, helicopters, or hmmm. I can't even think what else they could be. Anyway, we drove home and they were there maybe slowly descending, but we lost sight of them. They were in the air at least 5 minutes.
