On the evening of the 4th of July I was out front in my yard when Inoticed in the SW sky a very bright object relatively low in thesky that at first was stationary. This occurred at night so the objectwas much brighter than any star I've ever seen. It was completelysilent and then started to do zig-zag patterns in the sky coming toa abrupt stop. Then continued the pattern at what appeared to beat extreme speed. I observed for about 5 min, not thinking to muchat the time about it and simply went back in my house.I started doing some research months later after the subject cameup again and found that North East Ohio and the great lakes in general seemed to be somewhat of a hot bed for sightings so I thoughtit should be reported. Note should be taken that this was not partof any 4th of July fireworks show.
