I was working on a school project with my daughter when I let the dogs out back. I looked up and saw what looked like the mythical "donuts on a rope" contrail to the west. I called my daughter to come look as we have talked about the Aurora project possibility in the past and wanted her to see the very unique contrail. I have seen several contrails over central Texas like this and one other time watched and object moving at an extreme high rate of speed across the sky. Just as I was turning to go back into the house I saw an object to the east of the contrail moving at an extremely high rate of speed. This time I grabbed my phone and got a shot of it. The object was at an extreme altitude and no noise was evident. Due to the perceived altitude I was able to assume it was traveling at an exceptional rate of speed. It traversed the sky from right to left (east to west in just seconds. The sun was very bright and I could not see if my screen was picking up the event. I backed into the house and caught the last several seconds of the flight on the highest magnification. Even with that, it's impossible to make out the object.
