Coming south on Hyde Road I noticed a very bright light in the sky as I stopped in my vehicle at Drew Campground. It was not flashing or moving typical to an aircraft (as there were many in the area) Object was brighter and more noticeable than anything in the sky at the time. The object suddenly disappeared. It disappeared much like turning a switch on/off. I again, viewed the clear sky to see if it moved or turned and I saw no noticeable proof that it was there anymore.I see many planes in our area on the approach to Hartsfield Intl. and we are in a direct path of Blackhawk helicopters once or twice a day. This was noticeably brighter than aircraft lights, etc. Aircraft lights also do not disappear suddenly. It was also not moving as an aircraft does. It was high enough to not shutter behind trees (i.e. false blinking/behind tree/bridge etc.) and was viewed over the Vickery/Majors/BigCreek area.
