I was traveling home and noticed bright amber stationary lights in the distance in a southerly direction on the night of April 28, 2015. I drove approximately 2 minutes and still found 4 stationary amber lights in a triangular formation. One amber light near the bottom of the triangle occasionally blinked. I was on a side road and began to turn up the road where the stationary lights/object was, I was approximately 150-200 ft from the object from beneath it at an angle. As I began to turn on the road it immediately accelerated from stationary to perhaps 45-50mph. This made me believe it was under some intelligent control, as it knew I was approaching it. I could not tell if there was a body connected to the lights. I first noticed the lights from the south and it proceeded in a NE direction where I eventually lost sight of it. As I continued down the road about 200-300 feet ahead I saw a stalled car on the side of the road with another car opposite of it looking like it was jump-starting the stalled car. I have never seen anything like this before and was shocked as to how rapidly the lights accelerated from being stationary. This occurred one year ago from tonight.
