I was getting home at 3:35pm on May 18th 2016. I got out of my car and was walking to my door. In my field of vision to my left I saw a black object in the sky above a line of trees behind my house. At first I just assumed it was a bird riding on an air current. Then I saw some actual birds and realized the object looked nothing like the birds. I watched the object moving very slowly from east to west. The weather was overcast with solid cloud cover and the object was below the clouds at what I believe to be a relatively low altitude. It was moving much too slow to be an airplane and I don't think it was a helicopter of any kind. I didn't hear any sound that corresponded to the object. In the five minutes the object was visible to me I took three pictures on my phone but the object did not appear in any of them. The object appeared solid black and I couldn't determine its exact shape. When I lost sight of the object I think it had stopped moving from east to west and ascended straight up into the clouds and out of my sight.
