Oh my way back from work, just as I turned town West Main to go East, I stopped my bike to catch my breath. I looked to the sky and noticed a red flickering light, almost like a giant red candle in the sky. I couldn't have been the only one who saw it, because some people who were out walking saw it as well. I thought it could be Mars at first, but Mars doesn't flicker. So as I rode my bike further and approached Douglass Avenue, I noticed a blue orb shot up from the horizon behind the trees, toward the object. Where the object was from my POV, was behind the trees, so I couldn't see if the object was engulfed by the red flickering light or not. Soon after, I saw the blue light go back from the direction which the red light was at. By the time I was able to see the red light again, the area it was at had been covered by a thin layer of clouds. I could see stars through the thin layer of clouds still, but it was too thick for me to see if any of the "stars" were the flickering light. I'm a skeptic on UFO's, every sighting I've encountered had been explained away, but I've no explanation for this.
