I was checking my mailbox when I saw the object. It was huge, and very close. I tried to stop traffic; pointing up at it and shouting "WHAT IS THAT". No one stopped, but blew their horns at me to get out of the road. I could have been easily hit.The object was brilliantly red in the center, and brilliantly orange around like a corona. I am familiar with aeronautics and meteoritical phenomena. What angers me is: I was nearly nearly run down by traffic who REFUSED to look up at what I was pointing to, and yelling, what was over their heads: "WHAT IS THAT"??? Blowing their horns for me to get out of the road, and then speeding around me. Not one stopped to LOOK UP! This thing was HUGE! Very frustrating for me. I just wanted a witness. 'Could have been struck for it.
