June 14, 8:35 p.m. My daughter and I were watching for the ISS which was scheduled to pass over our area from the SW. My daughter pointed to an object coming over the hill behind our house that she thought was the ISS. I told her that was the wrong direction. Our local Regional Vocational school is located at the top of the hill. As I turned to look where she was pointing I observed a large, rectangular shape. Its edges were glowing red.(Not pulsating). It appeared to me that there was a ridge at the center of the rectangle. As it passed overhead it had two large round lights on the underside. When it was almost directly above us, one of the lights flashed brighter. At first I thought the object might be a solar panel attached to the ISS because of its shape, but I believe it was too low in the sky to be the ISS. My feelings were of wonder, puzzlement and then excitement at what we saw. We lost sight of it as it continued on its straight, level path to the NE toward Boston.I don't know what we saw, but would like to know if anyone else saw or reported it I tried unsuccessfully to contact out local TV station.Thank you.
