I was walking on the beach a little after 10pm on 24 April 2016 when I noticed a red light that was stationary in the sky. I watched it for a few seconds to see if it was a military or civilian aircraft but I didn't see the flashing lights you normally see on the wing tips and underside.There was no sound that I could hear from a helicopter or a plane. I was standing about 100 meters or so on the west side of the HRBT and the object appeared to be above the bridge itself at about 70 degrees or so. It was approx the size of a small tablet like a baby aspirin. After a few seconds, I pulled out my phone to take a video. I ended up with two clips as the light on the camera came on and I had to turn it off and try to film again. After I restarted the camera with the flash off, the object began to slowly move in a N direction but disappeared from my view when it appeared to be obscured by clouds but hard to say as it was dark out and the lights from the HRBT itself are very bright. I did manage to zoom in on the object as it was moving away before I lost it. No idea what it was. I have lived in the area for more than 20 years and spent much of that in the military. I am familiar with most of the aircraft we normally see in the area, military, civil and civilian.The video file names are the time-stamps of when the video was taken.
