The witness in this case received a call from the witness in case 77892 (in Dixon, IL) concerning lights visible in the northern sky and went out on her back porch to look for them. Two were visible and were heading west, veering up and down a little bit. A third light appeared and moved into the cloud bank causing it to glow orange-yellow from scattered light. The 2 witnesses are about 12 miles apart. The lights disappeared behind a tree in the back yard. At no time was any noise heard or any FAA-mandated lighting visible.
