I was returning to my house during the early evening. there was cloud cover that night, as early it had rained. i was driving down a small two lane country road when i noticed an object with three lights. what first struck me as odd, was the brightness of the lights. the lights did not blink, they were solid. i pulled over onto the side of the road to watch these lights. the lights were hovering over a nearby hilltop, they then began to move away form the hill in the direction of my suv. the lights moved very smoothly and silently. they slowly moved closer to my vehicle, snd then they vanished. i sat their for a minute and waited for it to return but it didn't, it was gone. i drove off after another minute and the whole way home could not stop thinking about what i saw.
