I was driving from san jose, ca to san mateo, ca on wednesday, october 19, 2016 taking highway 280 north. as i was hitting the woodside area, i observed a sun that was starting to dip behind the mountains and clouds that were glowing from the suns reflection. then i noticed what could only be described as another light source. at first, i thought about planet x, and because i was driving and trying to not crash, i came to the conclusion that this was either reflecting light or a light source. it was much brighter and concentrated that the typical glow of clouds that one may see as the sun rises or sets. it was very bright and much smaller than the sun. the object didn't appear to move and because i was in the car, i was not able to observe any motion and/or sounds. i was witness to this event for approximately two minutes. i took three pictures through the windshield. two of the photos do show blue orbs, but those were not visible when i took the photo so they very well could be, and probably are, reflections from the windshield. the object is located to the right of the sun and in the center of the photo and just above the mountain range line. these photos are unedited and taken with an iphone 5s. i thought about getting off the freeway, but as i got closer to the mountains, the mountains began to block my view and perspective of this reflective light or light source event.
