Driving west on hwy 52 toward orlinda & i-65 interstate on ramp. noticed extra brilliant white light - twinkling pulsating nature with different colors amongst brilliant white - larger light and shine than commercial aircraft landing lights. (different color and radiance as well) pulled on i-65 south ramp to view to our west, a second large brilliant light - exactly like the the stationary one appeared from "nowhere" to the left (south or west) of this light. was an amazing sight! clear skies, no sign of other lights or of this light approaching, it just appeared. it stayed stationary for a few second after it's abrupt introduction and then this second light, moved towards the north around the first object that was still hovering stationary. it seemed to circle the first light north to west to south and dimmed. possible blinking lights now visible on this second light as it dimmed and looked more like regular aircraft as it headed southwest and far away at a good speed. possible testing/training from ft. campbell in clarksville? helicopters? had windows rolled down during event and heard no sound of helicopters/jet at the time. the first light was still hovering as we left. this was not venus. had to leave as we were headed to airport. paid close attention to aircraft and landing lights at bna & nothing compared to these lights. on returning to the area, headed towards orlinda to see if there was something we may have been confused by, the lights were gone.
