We saw a bright, unmoving light in the sky while driving from down Woolcock St. After a while, we realised that it wasn't a plane and it outshone all of the stars we could see. We could still see it while driving down Bayswater, so I took a video. There's probably a mundane explanation but I thought it looked pretty neat. I looked again half an hour later, when I returned home, and it was gone, and there was no sign of any light in the direction we saw it. Maybe I was looking the wrong way, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't.
