My friend, josh, took a photo of himself (the photo attached) and posted said photo on social media. i noticed the object in the photo and pointed it out but nothing was said about what had appeared in the photo by anyone else that saw the image, including the person in the photo. apparently, i was the only person that even noticed there was an anomaly in the photo that he took. i saved the photo and asked a few friends their opinion on what the object could be but there was no consensus. there was only one coherent explanation i could come up with to explain what appeared in the photo. josh is not aware that i am making this report. please show discretion to his privacy if the photo is shown on any and all media outlets. i am quite familiar with the area that the photo was taken and have knowledge of his property but i am not very familiar with the surrounding properties. as you will see, the object is not transparent and is a real object in the sky. it looks as if the object is stationary because the image is clear and there is no blur to suggest movement. the object is approximately 100 yards away from the camera and about 80 ft up at the top of the tree line. behind the tree line is a small pond but it is unknown to me what else is in the vicinity behind josh's property where the photo was taken. i do not know if the photo was taken with a cell phone or digital camera but i would assume it was a phone camera that was utilized. i, unfortunately, do not have any further information about the image beyond what i have disclosed here.
