This was on the nehalem hwy n highway. the light appeared in the north sky - a very bright light, with a visible blue tail (almost like a rocket trail). it didn't behave like a plane or helicopter, nor did it feature blinking flight lights. it was mostly stationary, with random ascents and descents. the light slowly faded as it slowly moved nw across the sky, and was no longer after about 15 minutes.
