AS I was driving back from Kentucky last night, I saw something very strange. I will go ahead and say that I do not believe in this stuff or I didnt until now. I was just coming out of Chattahoochee National Forest traveling south towards Atlanta when I noticed a big bright sphere go darting across the sky. It had no tail and was far too big to be any known plane. It was moving at an incredible speed and in less then 10 seconds it was out of sight. I know it wasnt a meteorite because I have observed them for years as I study planetary geology and I am a geologist. I was shocked when I saw it. I looked to see if there had been any similar sightings and I found that all around the Atlanta area just this year (2017) there has been numerous sightings just like mine. I am not sure what it was but it freaked me out.
