It was a very nice evening and i was waiting to start a 6km run in the olympic statium in munich, germany along with thousands of other runners. they were staggered start times so you lined up and were let start in groups. while waiting in the crowd to start i notices a small flash in the sky. the sky was blue with very little cloud cover so the object was hard to see unless it flashed. i observed more flashes counting about 7 in total. they were hovering or staying pretty much in the same place though after a few minutes they did seem to be drifting. one of the objects when it flashed showed two of them right beside each other. i thought they were just close to each other but that was not the case. over the next ten minutes they did not move any further apart. when i moved forward with the crowd getting closer to the start i got a bit closer to the flashes and noticed that the double object seem to have a very faint line connecting them both. as i was running i had no camera and got seperated from my friends so no one else seemed to notice them. i observed them for 10-12 minutes, could have been a little longer. they moved in the sky but not very much. finally it was our groups turn to go to the start line, at this time i went under part of the building and could not see them anymore. as i ran i kept an eye out again but didn't see them again. i am guessing it would have been interesting to see 40k+ runners and spectators gathered around a big event. while i was observing them they were observing us.
