Was awake and in the kitchen early hours for drink of water, looked out of window and saw object in distance, brighter than usual, stayed stationary for some time, upon closer inspection through a scope saw it was a small cigar shape with a vague outline and what appears like very small windows approx 8x, very bright light coming from windows, and craft looked like it was illuminating light as well. noat looked like an upward direction way on earth was this from this world! after a while it shot across the sky as quick as a flash, and came to a complete holt instantly, approx 5 - 6 miles away from original point. it stayed there only for a few seconds, 5 - 10, then shot off in what appeared to be an upward direction till out of sight... did notice 2 or three aircraft in the extreme distance several miles from sighting. but nothing else.
